Khomida is a Vietnamese/Latinx fusion cooking channel. Digging deep into my roots as a Latina and Native Houstonian, combining adventerous eating habits with a favorite hobby is how this project came to life.
Objective:
To create a motion graphic related to a youtube channel that was based off a topic of interest, then take and further expand that channel into a small Brand based around Latinx and Vietnamese culture with
Approach:
The concept of this project was an homage to the youtube cooking community, like Binging with Babish and Nerdy Nummies but with a more Latinx flare and vietnamese influence to the design of the graphics, Khomida came into being as a verbal pun. Kho meaning to simmer and Comida meaning to eat.
